Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) - also known as Ling-Zi or Lucky Fungus is a polypore mushroom, growing in damp, dark forests and the occasional rotting log.
Reishi mushroom is an ancient Chinese folk remedy where it is considered to be "an elixir of life." The fabulous power of the reishi mushroom has been known in China for thousands of years. In the „Temple of the Heavens" in Peking, there are depictions of reishi, which were presented to the emperors as a symbol of a long life and wealth. Up the present, reishi is a talisman in Asia which is known to protect people from evil.
The reisi mushroom extract is carefully produced in a complicated process. In order to make one kilo of Raab reishi extract, one needs 30 kilograms of the mushrooms. Here, one must especially emphasize the high concentration of polysaccharids like beta glucan and triterpenes.
The extracts from all kinds of mushrooms contain polysaccarides. Polysaccarides such as beta glucans are carbohydrates and are integrated in the cell wall structures by the mushrooms. These stimulate the body’s immune system and help keep your liver healthy. The bitter triterpenes (ganodermin acids etc.) are also thought to be important in keeping your heart and circulation system healthy.
Vitamin C aids the resorption of the polysaccarides in the digestive tract.
Each vegetarian Capsule contains 300 mg Ganoderma lucidum Extrakt (30:1) plus 10 mg Vitamin C
