The pomegranate belongs to the family of the myrtle plants. The beautiful blossoms of the pomegranate have always been a symbol of love, and its firm fruit casing with their exotic juicy flesh express sensuality, fertility and vitality. The pomegranate symbolises the abundance of nature, its strength, its resilience, and its ability to eternally renew and regenerate. The fruits contain above all big amounts of secondary plant compounds such as polyphenols (flavonoids, tanines). The polyphenol ellagic acid, which owns antioxidative qualities, is of particular importance.
Each capsule contains 500 mg Pomegranate extract with 40% ellagic acid (200 mg ellagic acid per capsule) plus 30 mg of vitamin C.
