Chlorella pyrenoidosa is a unicellular green microalga. It consists of 60% of high-quality vegetable protein and contains various vital vitamins (e.g. vitamin B12), minerals, trace elements and secondary plant active substances. Its high chlorophyll content - the plants' sun accumulator, to which the plant owns it's name, makes this freshwater alga (originates from Asia) so unique. In order to make the valuable substances of content of the chlorella alga better accessible, its cell walls are carefully opened.
